Exceptional, affordable, very cosy wigwam with a comfy double bed and clean and functioning kitchenette and bathroom, right up the village. Best night of our 15 days trip around Scotland ! Delicious local restaurant "Clockhouse" 5min down the street. Definitely try it out ! It was lovely !!

Situated 15 km from Balmoral Castle, Ailsa- Enchanting Tiny House with wood burner and hot tub in Cairngorms features accommodation in Ballater with access to a hot tub. House was extraordinarily cute with an amazing view. All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

The Shelter Stone Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Aviemore, 46 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness, 48 km from Inverness Railway Station, as well as 10 km from... It was close to the railway station and all shops and facilities. Host is also so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage!

Boasting garden views, Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from Balmoral Castle. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Located in Nethy Bridge, less than 1 km from Abernethy Golf Club, Ptarmigan provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Lovely apartment in a beautiful area, the hosts were very nice and even offered some breakfast items. You can do a nice walk through nature to the Nethy Bridge Hotel for dinner. But the best thing: a highland cow near the castle and the miniature donkeys you could watch from the porch :)

Situated in Braemar, Braemar Lodge Cabins Not for profit features a restaurant, mountain views and free WiFi, 20 km from CairnGorm National Park and 20 km from Balmoral Castle. Cozy, well equipped cabin with everything we needed. Easy check-in and check-out.

Offering a garden and garden view, The Nook Holiday Cottage is situated in Aviemore, 45 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness and 47 km from Inverness Railway Station. Spacious, very comfortable, every amenity you could need.Lots of of thoughtful extras. This would have to be the best accommodation we have had on our trip. Thank you very much.

Des and sinead were both extremely lovely and made us feel very welcome and were always available if we needed help or guidance
