All the info was very easily laid out and the house was super clean. The wood stove was all set up for us upon arrival and worked very well. Hot tub was incredible after a long day of hiking in the Cairmgorns and was very easy to use singlehandedly. Kitchen was well stocked.

Nice touch with the bottle of red wine and the guest information booklet, made me feel well looked after by the hosts.

But the best thing: a highland cow near the castle and the miniature donkeys you could watch from the porch :)

Cosy and as advertised. it was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Easy to locate, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Great for stargazing and just to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. Everything seems handcrafted which is very twee and nice in this day and age.

It's very pet friendly and we look forward return visit. It's a short walk to the local shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I received a very warm welcome from the tenant and his wife. Since we were TGO hikers the tenant immediately offered to wash and dry our hiking clothes for free. The bedroom was luxury and we enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the morning The tenant and his wife where very caring towards their guests The hotel is very well located, a few steps from the railway station and the shops, and just in front of a nice public garden
