This is a big property with 10 rooms on the second floor. No lift. The ground floor has many spaces for large and small gatherings. I particularly enjoyed the glassed-in patio area for a morning coffee and a read. It is very quiet and feels like being in the country. Well-equipped kitchen. Also has several small areas to prepare food or coffee/tea. This would be a great place to have a family reunion and book the whole place.

Third year coming, never disappointed.

Very adequate for one night just to eat and sleep but would be too small for prolonged stay. Hosts very helpful and nice touch of J20 and crisps and milk on arrival. Accommodation warm quiet and quaint. Kitchen area well equipped with everything we needed.

There is a bright and cheery sitting area, and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen and open dining area, all on one ground level. The neighborhood pub is 2 blocks away (no hill climbing!) if you fancy a pint or a pub meal, but many, more choices down at sea level. Groceries are about a 10 min walk downhill/uphill to the Testco Express near the National Maritime Museum and shops on the High Street if you're preparing meals in. walk in shower is a nice convenience. It's only a couple steps up to the entry door from street level through a wonderful stone garden. The glassed-in porch area make it possible to wait for your ride without being outside in the wind or rain :-)
