Situated in Kirkby Lonsdale and with Trough of Bowland reachable within 28 km, Red Dragon Inn features a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Very cozy and charming place! It was our stopover between England and Scotland, and it didn't disappoint. Set in a quaint little town, this inn is right in the heart of it all. The rooms were perfectly cozy and comfortable, the staff incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended!

Situated in Grasmere, 12 km from Windermere, Victorian House features parking is limited and offered on a first come and first served basis. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. As a cyclist I asked to laundry. They did with no charge.

Room, service and food were excellent. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Particularly one young man who served drinks when we arrived and then breakfast on Sunday morning

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. We stayed in Room 10. We loved the comfort, the view and the facilities. The breakfast was delicious

Set in Sedbergh in the Cumbria region, Borrett Escapes - Luxury Pods offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. We had a wonderful stay at this place. At night it gets completely dark, which made it possible to see so many stars and even constellations, such an amazing experience. The host was very welcoming and came up to show us where everything was and how to use the hot tub. He was kind enough to fix the hot tub for us as well, which we really appreciated. The accommodation itself is very new, with comfy beds, great heating, and excellent high water pressure. Overall, a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.

Set in Keswick, 9.3 km from Derwentwater Lake, The Swinside Inn offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. Most gorgoues inn! We got upgraded to the loveliest room with our two doggos. The room was amazing and the food at the inn was incredible. Everyone was incredibly friendly and we felt at home after a long day on the road. Would 100% come back!
