It is in an amazing location, has easy access to the local park, and is not far from the town center. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Plenty of space for free parking.

This converted and refurbished watermill offers chic, elegant and stylish accommodation in an idyllic 12-acre countryside setting near Newmarket and Cambridge. Excellent stay in one of the nook rooms overlooking the meadow. Very relaxing a peaceful and lots of little extras to make this a luxury stay. The room was very comfortable with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub - not loads of storage space but we were only staying overnight sadly. We also had a meal in the main restaurant which was excellent, as was breakfast (served fresh, not buffet). We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we're in the area.

Situated in Shottisham and only 17 km from Saint Botolph's Burgh, The Thatched Flat at The Sorrel Horse features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely property, lots of space. Very close to Woodhall Manor, which we attended a wedding at.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Chez Ana is a recently renovated homestay located in Saxmundham, 12 km from Framlingham Castle. Loved the warmth of the host, and the room itself was just what we needed for a quick night away. Ana found me some peanut butter when she heard me saying that I liked it, which was such a nice touch. The room was spotless and the sheets were comfy and clean.

The Pear Tree Inn is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bury Saint Edmunds, where guests can make the most of its massage services and bar. This is a great place the stay. The staff are amazing, going out of their way to ensure you are an everything you need. The rooms are large and the bed was very comfortable The Bull Freehouse , also run by the hotel , has excellent food.

Boasting inner courtyard views, The Little Barn features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 45 km from The Apex. It is situated 8 km from Eye Castle and offers luggage storage space. It begun by a warm greeting. Turns out I had booked the wrong date somehow. But it didn’t matter. We were invited into their home, got to meet the dog’s, were made a pot of tea and they fit us in and got the little barn ready for us. Truly above and beyond. The little barn itself is amazing! Perfect mixture of modern and cozy. We didn’t even leave. I would 100% return, perhaps when the weather is a bit better so we can explore a little.

The property is a beautifully maintained and renovated 500 year old building and lovely, expansive gardens. Easy parking, warm welcome by staff, great room! The room was spacious, and had everything we needed (including a coffee machine and homemade shortbread). The included breakfast was amazing - all fresh, hot and tasty. We also had a drink in the bar late at night (missed dinner due to other commitments) and that was fun. Large, comfy bed, too!

Situated in Chelsworth and with Hedingham Castle reachable within 26 km, The Peacock Inn features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a... The welcome and hospitality was excellent. Comfortable bed and good quality bedding. Food is excellent, deserts are to die for and breakfast excellent with just the best quality local produce. Location is beautiful and the drinks selection is excellent - outstanding wine including hughe selection by the glass - and non alcoholic gin. We would return to eat.
