Located in Conwy, 16 km from Llandudno Pier, Caer Rhun Hall Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. I personally loved the location. It is a bit out of town from Conwy, but it is on a very nice piece of land with nearby mountain views. The breakfast was one of the best meals I had during my trip in the UK - pancakes, boiled eggs set to your preferred doneness, meats, cheeses, breads, even fresh honeycomb! The room was very quiet and spacious, and the bed was quite comfortable.

Offering a bar and garden view, Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park is located in Porthmadog, 10 km from Portmeirion and 23 km from Snowdon. Great location, easy access to Snowdonia, Caernarfon and other attractions. But still quiet and tranquil.

Located within 25 km of Grand Theatre and 42 km of Cardiff University in North Cornelly, Fig Tree Cottage provides accommodation with seating area. Clean, warm and comfortable. Florence is a wonderful and thoughtful host. We stayed just before Christmas and the touches like mince pies were lovely. Florence kept us informed if other guests were checking in, too.

Set in Old Radnor and within 36 km of Elan Valley, The Harp Inn features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. What a beautiful Inn. We received a very warm welcome from Martin and Mel and we're able to check our bags in early. After an energetic walk up Hergest Ridge, we returned to find all thr pretty christmas tree lights on and the fire roaring, it all looked so inviting. Our room (number 1) was perfect, very comfy bed and stunning views of the valley. We enjoyed a wonderful meal by the fire in the evening and breakfast in the morning was spot on. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the summer.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Glamping Life Retreat is set in Nantmel, 8.1 km from Elan Valley and 42 km from Clun Castle. Loved it all, the location was great for what plans we had. The view was beautiful, the hot tub was amazing. The staff were great with adding a couple extra treats to celebrate our friends birthday. All 3 of us had the best time! Thank you!

Location was amazing, clean, tidy, organised, well presented, we both really enjoyed our stay and would love to come again in the near future, such a nice little break

Boasting a shared lounge, Base Camp Snowdonia, Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri is situated in Betws-y-coed in the Clwyd region, 19 km from Snowdon and 25 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. This is a very nice hostel. Very cosy and very comfy 24/7 facilities. It is possible to self check in at any hour, and there is basic food to purchase in the kitchen too at any hour - quite handy (tea, coffee, beer, oatmeal, instant noodle etc). The common area is very neat and nice - i spent quite a lot of time there, chilling after a hike, cooking and eating food and even working on my laptop. I stayed in a female only dorm, that has 6 comfy beds, and there were 2 toilets and 2 showers just for our room, so i never had to wait to have a shower etc. There are hair dryers available, and a whole separate drying room both for laundry and wet clothes after a hike. Beds were perfect, pillows were perfect, not creaky as in some dorms. With very good quality bedsheets and towels. Overall, if i am in betws y coed again, i will certainly stay in Gwersyll Cyntaf Eryri.
