Boasting a bar, The Station Inn Whitby is set in Whitby in the North Yorkshire region, 800 metres from Whitby Beach and 31 km from Peasholm Park. It is a super location in the center of town, close to shops, restaurants and the abbey. The room we had was very spacious and clean (more than most pub-hotels I’ve been to).

Situated in Bridlington, 400 metres from Bridlington North Beach, The Ransdale features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. The location was great! A very short walk to the beach, a small tesco a few steps away and the local bus stop right outside the property.

Located in the town of Boroughbridge, the historic Grantham Arms offers bedrooms just 5 km from Staveley Nature Reserve and Newby Hall & Gardens. I was staying alone to break up a long drive south and this was such a nice surprise. Really gorgeous room with so many nice touches and incredibly comfortable. So much character too. The breakfast was also great and all the staff really friendly. A really cool place to stay. Also, even though it’s a pub with rooms it didn’t feel like that. Everything was hotel quality, spotlessly clean and a lot of effort has gone into the rooms so they feel really special.

The Lawrance Luxury Aparthotel - York is set in the York City Centre district of York, less than 1 km from York Minster, 26 km from Bramham Park and 34 km from Harrogate International Centre. Location in the center of stores, groceries and restaurants. Close to the train station. Very clean. Beds and sheets are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is clean and well furnished. Good thing is that the place is secured and entry to the property is by password In brief, the only uncomfortable thing in the apartment is lack of lift, especially if you're renting in the 2nd floor.

Just 10 minutes' travel by bus from York Railway Station, Ascot House is a 15-minute walk from York Minster. It offers award-winning breakfasts, elegant bedrooms, free WiFi, and free parking. Aivan ihastuttava vanha majatalo kävelymatkan päässä Yorkin keskustasta! Sisustus oli upea ja parkkipaikka talon takapihalla. Aamiainen oli melko suppea, mutta sitäkin parempi laadultansa - muista tilata lämpimät ruuat listalta! Majatalon omistaja (?) oli vanhempi herttainen rouva joka oli todella ystävällinen ja piirsi meille kartankin ja kertoi miten pääsemme keskustaan! Aamiaista oli tarjoilemassa maailman söpöin, kohtelias nuori poika myöskin! Huone oli todella siisti ja sängyt mukavat. Alakerrassa on myöskin olohuoneen tapainen yleinen tila, missä oli ihana vain oleskella. Kuulin myöskin, että koirat ovat tervetulleita ja omistajalla olikin oma koira paikalla!

Set in secluded gardens, Hotel Clementine, has free WiFi and characterful rooms. Hotel Clementine. Everything. Staff is very kind, the breakfast is amazing. Room is excellent.

A boutique hotel in the heart of York just a 10-minute walk from York Minster. Everything. I could have stayed forever in that little room, with huge bed and windowview (OMG) and birds singing.
