Offering a terrace and views of the sea, The Olive Yard is set in Gytheio in the Peloponnese Region, 50 km from Kalamata. Monemvasía is 44 km from the property. The hosts (all of them) were simply phenomenal. Really kind, taking the time to talk with us and full of service and good advices. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning, so well designed and decorated, absolutely lovely. The breakfast (and the service to get it deliverd), it’s the cherish on the cake and gives you a warm welcome feeling.

The owner was very reponsive and kind. Great facility and the pool is very nice for a quick dip in the hot weather. View is amazing. We sat outside and have breakfast everyday!

It was located on the second floor and had all the amenities, including spices and olive oil, for cooking. The location was nice because it was just outside of the center of Gythio away from the hussel. You will need a car to get around.

The hotel’s beautiful stone-built design, perched on a hill with sweeping views of the bay, creates an unforgettable first impression. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special mention to Maria at breakfast—she started each morning with a bright smile and genuine hospitality, always going out of her way to accommodate us. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully styled, with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding landscape. If we return to Mani, there’s no question—we would choose to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape in the Peloponnese.
