Facing the beachfront, El Hotelito Perdido offers 4-star accommodation in Rio Dulce and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. És un lloc idíl·lic en un entorn absolutament meravellós. El bungalow en el que ens vam allotjar (Sandía) era preciós, inoblidable. Molt gran, molt espaiós, amb tots els detalls pensats, els llits super còmodes, el nivell de neteja era excel·lent, aigua calenta a la dutxa, res d'insectes malgrat estar en plena selva, un porxo preciós davant del riu, unes vistes impressionants. Vam esmorzar i sopar allà durant la nostra estada i podem dir que és el menjar més deliciós que vam tastar durant tot el viatge a Guatemala, no és gens car, racions molt abundants i el sabor del menjar extraordinari. En el mateix hotel ens van recomanar activitats per fer i ens van arreglar tots els trasllats que necessitàvem. Va ser un plaer allotjar-nos en el Hotelito Perdido. Una experiència inoblidable. Ho recomanem 100%!!!

Hostal Blood Moon is situated in Rio Dulce and has a plunge pool and pool views. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Super awesome host. Very accommodating and helpful! Included complimentary simple breakfast - pancakes, banana, and coffee freshly made. I arrived with a car so needed a parking space. The parking was available. No issues there. Bed was comfy and clean.

If you are into nature, this place was amazing! They offer lots of extra things to do, hiking, kayaking trip, etc. There were so many wildlife opportunities including turtles, crocodiles, snakes, birds, monkeys..so much more! The accommodations were excellent and the food was tasty!!

An amazing hostel located up the Rio Finca which flows into the Rio Dulce. Having stayed at another lovely hostel close to the town of Rio Dulce, I would say this end of the river is more beautiful and unspoilt. You can take kayaks out and explore the little mangrove creeks near the hostel or venture as far afield as the Biotopo nature reserve. So many suggestions of fun and interesting things to do you could easily spend a week here!

Located in Puerto Barrios in the Izabal region, Hermoso Apartamento equipado provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The host was able to place us in a new location as some issues was going on with the location we booked.

A recently renovated campground located in Miramar, Coco Bamboo Beach Camp features a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Thvaj you so muhc Cacao bamboo team! A nature and bird watchers paradise. So peaceful. And everyone was so friendly and I enjoyed yummy family meals. I had a lovely stay and lots of doggy cuddles too. I really loved the bamboo hut too a the stunning spot Good luck wiht it all and love the bamboo and cacao projects 💜 Katie x

Located in El Estor, 43 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Hotel Ecológico Cabañas del Lago provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Small beach at the lake, directly accessible from the terrace. You can swim in the lake. Howler monkeys in the trees. Very friendly staff who allowed changes to the menu for vegans. Roomy cabins, good beds, okay shower. Lovely dining area with rustic furniture. In El Estor there is a super market, and also an outdoor market where they sell local textile. Not many tourists there, very unspoiled and original. The Carretera 7E (coming from the East) is paved until El Estor and changes then into 44 km unpaved road, which made us drive back the way we came.
