It's a good location to get to the Plitvice Lake National Park. There is a bus stop down past Noah's Bakery on the right. You can catch a Flixbus around 8:30am for about €5 each. To come back, there is a ticket counter at the bus stop you get off at at Entrance 1. There is Flixbus' coming back at 4:15pm, 5:15pm and 6:15pm for about €3 each. Get your tickets for the park online ahead of time during the busy season.

Location was superb. Was able to leave the car there for the day when hiking in Plitvice. Easy walk through a trail in the forest to the park. Owner met us on arrival and showed us the apartment, gave a dinner option, and suggested a trail for us.

The owner Tommy was accommodating to our late arrival, friendly, upbeat, carried our luggage in, gave us advice about our next day's excursion, told us a little about traditional Croatian culture, and was wonderful. We LOVED the chalet with the wood burning stove. Also the cabin was toasty warm with a roaring fire when we arrived on a very cold rainy night, it was so thoughtful of the host to prepare for us. It was an excellent experience, highly recommended.
