The homestay features family rooms. Amazing location next to one of the small rivers. The family is lovely and they cook amazing food. They don't live in the house, but they are very attentive and arrange any meal you need (the mum cooks really good!) any tour or train ticket. The house is in a quiet area, away from any road or noise.

Really close to the beach for sunset and nearby food options available. Breakfast was yum too!

Featuring a garden, the property is located within 2.9 km of Alappuzha Railway Station. The homestay has family rooms. Frances and Jeeja and their lovely home are what made this stay so enjoyable. The house is spotless and modern. The breakfasts are amazing. I stayed a week just to have some relaxing time. Its quiet this far out of town but there are places to eat along the beach. My personal favourite was Catamaran, recommended by Frances. Great to see village life, watch the fishermen mending their nets, and the women praying each evening at the small shrine, for the safety of the men out at sea. Do the backwater tour by paddle boat, a great day out.

The host is a very nice person with a good heart and big smile who cared about our well-being, safety, organized programmes, and helped in whatever we needed. I recommend his place.

The owners are incredibly kind and genuinely go above and beyond - their warmth, generosity, and openness create a special atmosphere from the moment you arrive. There's a strong community vibe, making it the perfect place for solo travelers. The area is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, with plenty of scenic spots just a short walk away, and it feels completely safe to wander around and explore. The food is delicious. And of course, Trancy - the sweetest dog and the true heart of the hostel - will happily join you on your walks or curl up for cuddles. All in all, if you’re looking for a stay in Wayanad, don’t bother looking anywhere else :)

We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! My special thanks to Mr Albin - he has been one of the most humble and amazing host, with his constant assistance and my endless needs , a very dedicated person to serve us the best. and also Mr Kartik to help keep patient with our endless inquiry.infact all the staffs are amazing. From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Marari Charlys Homestay is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Mararikulam, 200 metres from Marari Beach. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I liked it so much I extended my stay and decided not to visit other places. The homestyle Kerala break fasts were delicious and served with a smile every morning on the patio with the sound of the birds in the lovely garden. The place was clean, comfortable king sized bed in a large room with 12 ft ceiling. Clean bath room with functional showers, my first in india after 2 weeks. AC and fan awesome! The place was peaceful, with a lush green garden, large coconut trees, sounds of birds with a small village vibe. loved hanging around the patio and walking to the nearby shops for lunch. Hosts are nice people always greets with a smile as do the local people here, very friendly. Host arranged for scooter bike, tours, train, and money exchange...really helpful people I trust...made stay easier. After chaotic north India, Alleppy, etc...this place was the peaceful village experience I was looking for with a Modern Homestay. ...Lovely clean sandy beach 50m away, hardly anyone there (time of year?) I had it all to myself... Unfortunately I don't sunbathe
