The location is nice, close to the train station, small grocery shops and a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable. While I only stayed one night, I would definitely come back.

It's an amazing place. We really liked to stay here, super nice hosts. It's 200m from the beach, where you can find lots of great restaurants. The place has an AC in the rooms, and the rooms are quite big. The bed is comfy and huge. I'd definitely come back any time.

Hosts are very kind and are ready to help you with every issue you encounter. There was hot water. Area is peaceful, there is a balcony ideal for reading. Able to work online with the wifi (incl. meetings). I also walked to the city center of Alleppey (abt. 40-45 mts). You can also get tuktuk. The host, Francis, can also help you with a good massage place.

Nastanitev Madhav Mansion Beach Resort se nahaja v mestu Varkala, le 49 km od znamenitosti tempelj Sree Padmanabhaswamy, in ponuja vrt, teraso ter skupno kuhinjo. Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!
