The owner was very friendly and helpful. All meals were delicious. The location on the lake is beautiful. Vök Baths are close by.

Undiraldan - Steinholt, old music school is situated in Seyðisfjörður. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 3.8 km from Gufufoss. This is a cute one bedroom. The upstairs has a couch that you could sleep on but no dark out curtains and the kitchen we cooked in. Downstairs has two twin beds and full bed. The bathroom has a washer: dryer combo. This was our mid trip laundry stop. The town is cute and walkable.

Offering garden views, Starmýri 2 Cottages in Starmýri provides accommodation and barbecue facilities. With river views, this accommodation features a patio. Absolutely the best of all accomodations we've had during our Ring Road tour. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.

Located in Neskaupstaður in the East Iceland region, Skorrahestar provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The property has mountain and garden views. This was our best stay while exploring Iceland: amazing hosts, quiet and clean rooms, super spacious dining area and kitchen, a separate huge common space with 2 pianos …and a jacuzzi in the evening on the roof between 2 mountains! Socializing and sharing tips about travel with the other guests. Nice breakfast in the morning and Paskahellir site with blueberry fields in late August just around the corner. Totally worth the trip off the ring road!!

It's a small city, and the house is close to the center of the city. We arrived late, so we won't be able to get to the grocery store, you'll need to check the open time of the grocery store. You'll be staying on the whole 2nd floor. The house is very big, and the decoration is very unique. It makes us feel at home. Big bathroom and big kitchen. Very comfortable.

The dogs are playful and friendly - if you are lucky even the reindeer will greet you at arrival ☀️🏔️ Nice and rustic interior design that fits the vibe and the landscape. There’s a love for details, inviting to stay and enjoy some fresh air in the outdoor establishment for a little longer than planned. I’d step by again any time - if not for an overnight stay, then definitely to enjoy some of the home-made lamp meat soup 🤍
