The location was great and the host was very responsive. It is within a five minute walk of the sassi and many great restaurants. The heater in the room works well, which is a plus. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided at a nearby bakery.

The breakfasts were fabulous, the staff helpful and the location perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and the facility was very clean throughout.

We were welcomed by a wonderful host, who took the time to familiarize us with Matera, its history, and the landmarks, but also the best restaurants, bakeries, and bars. The apartment was amazing (we got the upgrade, but I saw the other room and it was excellent as well), and the position of the villa is very central and near to most of the landmarks. The breakfast, with homemade products, was a real treat! Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality.

Anne explained us everything about Matera with great recommendations! She showed us to our beautiful room in an old matera house. The hotel has an amazing aesthetic that resonates well with the city. The breakfast is also very much appreciated with nice music.
