Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Fantastic room and location! Right in the heart of La Spezia, only a short walk from the train station and easy gateway access to Cinque Terre. Wonderful and friendly staff who provided information on the best places to see/visit/eat/drink in La Spezia. We would 100% recommend this to others!

Situated within 3.6 km of Castello San Giorgio and 30 km of Carrara Convention Center, Le camere sui colli 2 features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in La Spezia. Even though we arrived at the hotel very late at night, the receptionist was very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Boasting sea views, B&B La Volpe offers accommodation with patio, around 21 km from Casa Carbone. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. One of the most excellent stay we’ve ever had. Simply clean, warm and beautiful. Moneglia is a cute town waiting for you to explore. Two bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen, clean- a little bit out of town, but we were provided with parking card for the town.

A recently renovated property, CinqueTerre Casa Simón La Spezia is located in La Spezia near Castello San Giorgio, Amedeo Lia Museum and Technical Naval Museum. Els llits eren molt comodes i molt amples. Tot estava molt ben presentat.
