The staff was friendly, check in quick and efficient, the room was clean with a much appreciated welcome basket. The location was great, close to Trieste Centrale (train station- cca 500m) and close to the city center, ie the busy areas etc.

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this property! It was perfectly clean, updated and modern, beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and everything you could need. But what was even MORE than perfect was the staff, particularly VASILY at check in! He is an amazingly aware and perceptive individual, and sensing the need at check in, he instantly took complete control of a situation to ensure my safety. He did this in an unbelievably discrete and professional manner yet with incredible strength and confidence, as well as genuine concern and caring. I don't think I have ever been so impressed with anyone in my life!!! He made me feel completely safe!!! Vasily's actions put this already perfect property off the charts! I cannot say enough!!!

Savoia Excelsior Palace overlooks the Bay of Trieste in the city centre. la primera habitació que ens van donar no ens va agradar, l'hotel estava ple i no podien fer res, però des de la recepció es van activar i l'endemà ens va trucar el manager de la recepció per oferir-nos una habitació millor. L'habitació era MOLT millor, per sobre de les expectatives que teniem, però el que ens va agradar és la capacitat de reaccionar de l'hotel, digne d'un palace de veritat. per la resta, l'hotel és netíssim, el servei de descoberta és complet i hem quedat molt contents de les prestacions, el Savoia és un veritable palace, digne de la ciutat elegantíssima com és Trieste.

L'Urban Hotel Design combina l'estil modern i l'elegància, tot en una zona animada del centre de Trieste. Breakfast was the best. Tommy and his team worked hard and the result could be seen even at a glance. Very delicious and big choice, excellent coffee from the machine.

Everything was spotless, brand new, modern and comfortable. Good location, just a 10 min walk from the Grand Canal and Piazza dell'Unità, supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants within a 5 min radius. The building is also well-kept -- it seems to be entirely dedicated to rental units from the same agency so the same attention to cleanliness and detail was also in the stairwell and elevator.
