Fantastic hosts, so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They literally drove us to the slopes every day and picked us up. They even drove us to Nagano to catch the train back to Tokyo at the end of our stay. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is super modern. To get the best from this property, get stuck in and meet the other guests, it's such a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Noise levels drop by 10pm to ensure a peaceful night sleep and the breakfast/ food it's awesome. Thanks for the fabulous welcome to all the staff at Dark Horse.

Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group ofrece un hidromasaje y alojamiento con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis en Hakuba, a 12 km de Zona de esquí Tsugaike Kogen. The pictures don't do it justice. We were at the two bedroom house and the view, the furnishing and the decorations were breathtaking! Also there's 2.5 baths instead of 2 as advertised. The location is perfect - about 10 minute walk to the restaurants. However what really made our stay so memorable was the service team. They felt like family and were super responsive to every request on WhatsApp. From restaurant and onsen suggestions to helping us book tables. They sent their own car in a snow storm to rescue us from cortina when all taxis cancelled on us. Words can't describe our appreciation and thank you for making our annual family trip so perfect.

Stayed here Jan 2026 to snowboard at Hakuba Cortina. The #6 chairlift is literally outside the door. Ski-in/Ski-out doesn’t get any better than this. While lodge is in an older building, the interior has been renovated earlier in 2025, and still maintains a rustic vibe - hello wood burning fireplace! The dining/living room is HUGE and warm and inviting and perfect for downtime relaxation. There are tons of amenities like foam rollers, balance boards, a PS5, guitars, and a very fancy massage chair! Rooms are super clean, beds are comfy. Water in the showers is hot and pressure is great. Heated toilet seats. Dinners are delicious. Many items on the menu, daily specials, Nothing fancy, but satisfying after a long ski day. Special shout out to the Yakisoba which was super good This is a tightly run operation by your hosts Doris Rio and Ichi. They don’t “try” to make your stay as comfortable as possible, but it “just happens” because they are just great people. They are also hardcore skiers and know what skiers need and have created the perfect space to cater to that.

Log Cottage KUROITA está ubicado en Hakuba, a 11 km de Zona de esquí Tsugaike Kogen y a 43 km de Estación Nagano. We had a fantastic stay here. The cottage is spacious, clean and cosy and the host is absolutely lovely and very accommodating. Location is also great, 2 minute walk from the free shuttle bus stop to different ski resorts. Would highly recommend!

Hakuba Bears Lodge Echoland ofrece alojamiento 2 estrellas en Hakuba, a 9,3 km de Zona de esquí Tsugaike Kogen y a 43 km de Estación Nagano. We loved that it was dog friendly ! the resident puppy Gunnar was very cute and very well behaved ! The rooms were great, very comfortable beds ! We also loved sitting and chatting with the managers and staff - they were all very kind and welcoming !
