The glamping site is peaceful, right by the river, with beautiful views and nature all around. It’s perfect for relaxing or being active. The place is pet-friendly—we stayed with our cat, and the owners’ dog was super cute and friendly. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, giving great tips about local activities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a lovely walk-in shower. We loved the terrace and small garden for privacy and views. The outdoor shower was great after exercise. Breakfast and picnic options were delicious. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples, families, or friends.

ゲストハウス桜月荘 GuestHouse Sakurazukisou is a recently renovated guest house in Kagoshima, where guests can make the most of its bar and shared lounge. The property features quiet street views. The owner is a great guy, he takes care of his guests and goes out of his way to explain what there is to do based on your interest. I wanted to hike the volcano but when that wasnt possible he took me hiking the next day to a cool mountain nearby. Also nice to rent bycicles here. Great stay, would recommend!!

Very cozy house to spend an amazing island vacation with a family. We especially enjoyed playing the piano and the care the owner took of us.

The service was excellent! They took me to the airport and dropped me off at the bus station when I needed to use the bus. It was my birthday and they got me a cake and played/sang with the saxophone! The view from the deck is incredible, and you can see the sunrise in the morning, stars at night. The weather on the south side of the island is so much warmer than the north, too. Glad I stayed in the southern part. Keisuke makes incredible breakfasts. Splurge on one of their dinners. This place is best for couples with a car cuz of the room size and the location.

Situated 15 km from The Remains of Nanshu Saigo, 大人数で泊まれる一棟貸し㐂瀬Kise provides accommodation in Amami with access to a hot tub. The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.
