I had one of the best birthdays of my adult life here! I stopped writing reviews but it would be a disservice not to rate this glampsite. The tent was spacious and high, the toilets were clean, the food was divine, and the customer service おもてなし was impeccable. I was exhausted from work, stressed, jaded by city life, eating poorly and sleeping badly. I am so grateful to unwind in such a gorgeous location surrounded by nature and kindness. I recommend bringing crocks or sturdy slip-on outdoor shoes, especially for the toilet. I also suggest bringing earplugs if you wake easily to bird noise. I also recommend the venison stew, the cassis orange, and the apple pie. To the company, I know hot water is provided in a thermos but I would definitely rent a mini kettle if you had one available. All in all, a fantastic experience especially after two awful group camping trips. ありがとうございました！

BIRD HOTEL ligt in Kamakura, op 2 minuten lopen van Yuigahama Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant, privéparkeren en een bar. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are massive by Japanese standards, it’s 2 minutes from the beach but still quiet and the facilities including private class are much higher quality than the cost of the stay would make you think. We had the tasting menu two nights in a row from the hotel restaurant and it was unbelievably reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The second night the chef asked if we’d like anything different and also made a bespoke cake for my birthday with a birthday message written in chocolate sauce. Wee details like this are amazing! Staff are incredibly friendly. It’s a small, high class boutique hotel with an incredibly small fee for what you get. Go here.

Wow 🤩, wat een fantastisch vakantiehuis. Alles Was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De kinderen vonden het “verstopte” bed fantastisch en we hebben nog nooit zo’n lekkere douche gehad als in dit huis.

The villa is located in the mountains, in a very quiet area, yet quite close to the lake and the bus stop. The sauna in the house was an amazing opportunity to relax, as was the comfortable bathtub. The bed was very comfortable, and the blanket was warm and cozy. The owner was very kind and even left us some local sweets — that was such a lovely gesture.

The traditional look and feel of a Japanese home. Also, the host was wonderful and supportive. We felt more like visiting family than an vacation rental. Would always come back here and highly recommend staying for a trip to Kamakura. Also, it's 15 minute walk to the great Buddha temple and 25 minutes to Kamakura station and the beautiful shopping street.

We were very happy with our stay because it was very clean and we could even use the kitchen and there were other things we could use, so this is where we always stayed with my family when we travel to Sagamihara.🥰🥰🥰🥰

Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. very spacious and modern house. Very clean and well equipped. Communication was excellent. Every time again.

湯河原「ゲストハウス城堀の家」 ligt in Yugawara, op 20 km van station Hakone-Yumoto en 37 km van Shuzenji tempel, en biedt uitzicht op de zee. Nice view spot and the homewares are exquisite. Definitely a nice place to stay again.
