We LOVED our stay here in Kyoto! Our family stayed for a week in this home and absolutely adored the neighborhood location and charm! The host is the sweetest woman and very responsive. We enjoyed wandering the streets and finding small shops and cafes tucked around every corner. The location is super-convenient to bus and metro lines as well as several grocery stores. At the end of our week here, our teenage kids were begging us not to leave, we all loved it so, so, much!

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. Amazing food, beautiful rooms, central location and as always at a four seasons the best service.

A 10-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Train Station, Takigawa Ryokan features comfortable Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. A public bath is available, and massages can be requested for relaxation. Guests can borrow Kimono robes for free, but will be charged for dry cleaning costs. Really good place to stay ! The owner is lovely and speak good english ! Private bath are a must !!!

Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The host was great and super helpful. Made our stay amazing. Great location, not too far from Kyoto station.

They also offer pick -up from Miyazu Station which was very convenient. I would stay here again.
