The owners were so nice and friendly. The woman speaks good English and they do their best to inform us on the things to do around. The breakfast was just amazing and generous ! Even the house is really cute and comfortable ! You definitely have to come here if you want to visit the area !

No breakfast provided but the villa offers a lot of cooking equipment. Self check in and it's very quickly and simple. The equipment and washing machine are very clean and well. It's very spacious！ The view of the terrace is refreshed and relaxed. The onsen is awesome！ The bath is big enough for 3 kids to stay in. Everything is fine to our family and we all enjoyed the stay in Terra villa.

Set in Yanagawa, Fukuoka region, 柳川ゲストハウス 憩 (IKOI) is situated 35 km from Hirayama Hot Spring. The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 19 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park. We loved every second of our stay at IKOI in Yanagawa. The guest house was a lovely half hour walk from the train station along the canal in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. We loved strolling around the area and it was easy to get to boat rides and restaurants nearby. IKOI itself is wonderful and had everything we needed. Warm room (can't say that about every place we have stayed at), super comfortable beds and other amenities in tip top condition. The view of the garden from the cafe is honestly worth the price alone, it's breathtaking. It's hard to believe you're not in the countryside when looking out that window. Finally, I have to dedicate a paragraph of this review to Jo, the owner. He was so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. He helped us with figuring out transportation, he called a restaurant for us to help with a reservation and he recommended some local places that ended up being the highlight of our stay in Yanagawa. I cannot say enough great things about our host, just 10/10. Overall, our stay at IKOI was wonderful and I could not recommend this place more!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a plunge pool, inner courtyard view and a terrace, Glamping Village LEAF is set in Mashiki. Stayed for a night to experience glamping in Japan. We reserved a cabin and requested for charcoal bbq (top up a small fee for the charcoal bbq). Love the BBQ right at our glamping unit. They provide vegetables, rice, soup and drinks for bbq, they are self-service and complimentary. Breakfast is also provided by self service too. Staff are helpful and friendly. Really a lovely experience.

Absolutely amazing property. Very clean , quite spacious . Kitchen was perfectly stocked with all the utensils to prepare dishes.Resort staff was very helpful Best part just 5 min walk from station . View is mesmerising from all the rooms. Just perfect .

The lovely Ryokan is nestled in the mountains with beautiful scenery and views of the changing colours of the mountains, clouds and sky at different times of the day. Enjoyed the private onsen with forest views and the public open-air onsen with mountain views.

Boasting an open-air bath, garden and views of mountain, Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro is set in Minamioguni, 40 km from Mount Aso. We really enjoyed our stay. We booked a room with its own outside onsen tub, which was excellent. As we had our own private onsen, we did not use the common bathing facilities. As there are no restaurants anywhere near the hotel, we ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day. They prepared different meals for us each time, and the meal presentation and taste were outstanding. The staff were also excellent, and attended to our every request. Several staff members were able to speak English as we can't speak any Japanese. The location is a bit out of town along a winding forest road. It would be impossible to get to the hotel without a car and google maps. With the meals our stay was somewhat expensive but we would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Yufuin-Sanso Waremokou offers large Japanese-style rooms boasting an open-air cypress hot spring bath, sweeping nature and city views and a massage chair. We are surprised that our room has three onsens and we love them. The size of the room is big and and cleaned. The dinner and breakfast are very good with everyday different menu. The staffs are helpful and most of them are Nepalese. The speak Japanese and English so easy to communicate.
