Thank you Terry for the tips in regards to the good Ramen Shop. Perfect location if you want to go to Sanosaka Resort. Otherwise you will need a car to reach the other resorts. Thank you for your help in regards to the stuff I left at the Hostel. I will be back !

It’s so cozy, very authentic, you get onsen tickets everyday, few minutes walk from the station, free drinks, and there is food available also. Just amazing

Beautiful accommodation with excellent facilities. Plenty of space and very comfortable for bigger groups or families. Concierge team started a whatsapp chat group a day prior to check in and were responsive throughout our stay with any questions we had.

We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The location was beautiful, the onsen was perfect, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the hostess, Maki, was so nice and welcoming. Maki taught us, two non-Japanese, the proper way to enjoy a ryokan stay, enabling us get the full traditional Japanese experience. If you are able to book a stay at this ryokan then consider yourself lucky, it is truly wonderful.

It felt like home and I met incredible people there. The dinners were great as well and Gaspard is such a kind and nice host. The lodge is located a bit out of town but there is a good shuttle system to take you to town/slopes. I only stayed a couple of nights but it feels like I was there much longer ✨

The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

El green log ligger i Hakuba, 43 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon, 44 kilometer fra Zenkoji-tempelet, og 18 minutters gange fra Happo One skisenter. Host was a good and prompt communicator and very helpful. We appreciated our bags being picked up from Yamato Transport and taken to El Green Log for us. It was very spacious (especially by Japan standards), clean and had everything we needed. Very warm and we loved the fireplace. Good location to get shuttles from the Echoland Spicy stop to ski fields, and an easy walk to many restaurants.
