Shiga Kogen Lodge features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Yamanouchi, 20 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

Shiga No Yu Hotel is set in Yamanouchi, within 13 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 22 km of Ryuoo Ski Park. The food here is amazing. So fresh and delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very near to Yudanaka Station, 2mins drive. Well done to Kaneko for a warm service when we arrived to Yudanaka Station. All staff were very helpful to answer your queries. The amount we paid was just right for the following - breakfast & dinner includee, free pick up and drop off to Yudanaka Station and Snow Monkey Park, and what we like the most was we had onsen in our room. It’s was truly perfect coz my husband and I prefer to have a private onsen

Located within 4.7 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 10 km of Ryuoo Ski Park in Yamanouchi, Rakki OnsenRyokan 楽奇温泉旅館 provides accommodation with seating area. It’s a real Japanese style rooms. With traditional tatami floor and sleeping on the floor actually was very cozy and comfortable. Importantly I should mention the hosts , they were super helpful and friendly. They provided with a free drive in the morning to monkey park! And even gave me a ski set clothes because it was very cold and snowing outside. Even if I booked without breakfast, they provided me with 2 days free breakfast! Breakfast was also very delicious home made style ❤️ And important for me was the location/ it’s 2 minutes walk from main station, which helped me a lot! Definitely worth to stay here and I wish to come back again some day.

Absolutely loved this property. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, even through the language barrier. The room was an AMAZING Japanese-style ryokan room. The onsens were clean and wonderfully warm. The location was outstanding and I loved every minute here. I wish I had been able to extend my stay!
