The food was amazing, it was an experience on it's own. Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms. Very near to Yudanaka Station, 2mins drive. Well done to Kaneko for a warm service when we arrived to Yudanaka Station. All staff were very helpful to answer your queries. The amount we paid was just right for the following - breakfast & dinner includee, free pick up and drop off to Yudanaka Station and Snow Monkey Park, and what we like the most was we had onsen in our room. It’s was truly perfect coz my husband and I prefer to have a private onsen

We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to explore the area. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and we are especially grateful for their hospitality in helping us get to the Monkey Park. The service was outstanding, and every detail was thoughtfully cared for. We truly appreciate the warm welcome and would gladly stay here again.

Nastanitev つるや旅館 se nahaja v okrožju Yudanaka Onsen (Yamanouchi) in ponuja sobe s klimatsko napravo ter s TV z ravnim zaslonom. Absolutely loved this property. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful, even through the language barrier. The room was an AMAZING Japanese-style ryokan room. The onsens were clean and wonderfully warm. The location was outstanding and I loved every minute here. I wish I had been able to extend my stay!
