The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

The food prepared by the host was phenomenal always. All food was procured locally and their goat cheese is absolutely delightful. After dinner, Gio recommended we take a stroll to see the stars and recommended some easy hiking paths to take in the morning after we left. The house was warm throughout despite being an old fashioned house in the mountains with no drafts. The futons unbelievably comfortable. I got to play with goats in the morning so that's always a good day in my book.

Yunominesou ligger 10 minuters promenad från den varma källan Tsuboyu, som finns med på UNESCO:s världsarvslista. The staff were very friendly and extra helpful. They properly explained the features and facilities of the hotel, as well as the rules and regulations. They were also very prompt. Dinner was served exactly at 6:30PM. Talking about the dinner, it was exceedingly delicious and sumptuous. There were a total of 13 Japanese dishes, and the staff took time to explain how to eat them and in what order. The hotel also had both private and public onsens (shared with other guests). My friends and I had the best experience, given that we had just completed our Kumano Kodo. Breakfast was equally delicious. Lastly, we are deeply grateful to the staff member who drove us to the nearest bus station to ensure that we did not miss our forward schedule. Everyone, book your stay at the Yunominesou. It’s super worth it.
