Featuring accommodation with a balcony, Sai Shanti House is set in Lamu. The apartment, housed in a building dating from 2002, is 200 metres from the Mnarani House. Everything! It is such a lovely place that will make your stay in Shela a beautiful memory. Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home. Thank you Sai Shanti. We will be back!

Featuring a terrace with garden views, a private beach area and a garden, Madakani House can be found in Lamu, close to Shela Beach and 100 metres from Mnarani House. The staff were amazing - so friendly and attentive. We have a young family and they were great with the children too. The house is a beautiful old Swahili house. The rooms are on the upper floors meaning there is a nice breeze to keep you cool at night and during the day. We have 2 small children and easily fitted into one family room. There was also a great roof terrace for sundowners and/or dinner each night. Location was very convenient - a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Edwin was very helpful in organising dhows, dinner and bonfire in the dunes etc. We will definitely be back!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a terrace, Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa is set in Shela. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Located a few steps from Kipungani Beach, Kizingo Beach Eco Lodge offers 4-star accommodation in Lamu and features a fitness centre, a garden and a bar. The Banda we had was Deep Sea, nestled in the sand dunes with a gorgeous sea view. The decor was so well thought through with little details making such a difference from the weaving of the plants and their water system. To the lovely toiletries, gorgeous robes and swinging day beds. We wanted for nothing.Kizingo is paradise, peaceful and the perfect place to relax, explore, swim and just be. Nikki (the owner) and Pauline, Millicent, Paul, Alan and each of the team work so hard to ensure your stay at Kizingo is exactly when you need. They tune into each of the guests needs and Ensure you have your own Kizingo experience. There were activities available for us to do each day. We particularly loved the walk and bonfire in the dunes at sunset and swimming in the mangroves. Each meal was exceptional, carefully crafted with local ingredients / Catch of the day to ensure no waste. All healthy, tasty and delicious. Kizingo (the corner) is magical. Each night we would lay and look at the stars whilst listening to the gentle waves and nature. Thank you so much team. We will be back.

Situated within 200 metres of 18th Century Swahili House Museum and 200 metres of Lamu Museum, Pwani House - Lamu Seafront features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lamu. That place is absolutely amazing 😍 we had the privilege of getting the big room and the balcony has a perfect view over the ocean and the harbour and the promenade. We really enjoyed the spacious room. It's all ready nicely designed as well. But our favourite thing in pwani house was our host Ibrahim who made the best breakfast for us and was always available during our stay. We will definitely book there again!
