Located 8 km from World Heritage Wat Phou, La Folie Lodge offers accommodation overlooking the Mekong River. One of the most beautiful places in Laos - very peaceful and relaxed. The pool and garden space are beautiful and well kept. The staff were great to organize transfer from Pakse to the island, everything went smoothly.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and I had my own private bathroom. I felt comfortable staying with Nicolas and his family. What makes this homestay truly special is Nicolas deep local knowledge. He knows Pakse, the Bolaven Loop and Champasak extremely well and shared countless tips, including non-touristic places and his own custom maps. This was a huge advantage for my travels and something you rarely find elsewhere. If you’re looking for a place with a personal touch and genuinely helpful local insights, I can highly recommend this homestay.

Objekt Don Falang Homestay- Private Island & Beach u gradu 'Don Det' ima vrt, privatnu plažu, zajednički salon i terasu. Alex and Laymon were the perfect hosts. Kind and helpful, and so so welcoming. We arrived as customers, and left feeling like we were old friends.

Objekt DON DET Souksan Sunset Guesthouse and The Xisland Riverview Studio nalazi se u gradu 'Ban Donsôm Tai' te sadrži vrt, terasu, bar ibesplatan WiFi u cijelom objektu. The location couldn't be beat: Right on the very tip of the island with beautiful sunset views, a cooling breeze, and lovely hammocks right outside the rooms and under a big tree for during the day when it was hot. Also has nice gardens, and it's private, and quiet. Xai is delightful as are all the staff. A special note: They provide cold water in a dispenser in the restaurant. It is much appreciated that I did not have to use the plastic bottles provided!!! Thanks Xai and y our family for caring about the environment.!

Of the area it was to us the best — a pristine pool and a nice shaded area on the river for watching the sunset. Breakfasts were generous and the staff super helpful (with excellent English). We walked to the two different waterfalls on different days, and it’s easy to pop over the bridge to Don Det. Lots of restaurants in the area, too. Dry relaxing
