So disappointed that we booked only for one night. We would love to stay few more days. Host was the best of the best! We met so many lovely people during our trip but noone was like he was. We felt so comfortable around him. If you want to visit Kandy you should choose this place.

The beds are very comfortable with clean linen and high quality pillows. It was also surprisingly quiet despite there being other guest houses around. The stand out is the staff- we were taken care of by Mani, who cooks some of the best breakfast I have had in Sri Lanka (I highly recommend that you request the String Hoppers with Coconut Sambal). You are also given a balanced breakfast because Mani will also prepare sliced fruit (papaya, mango, and pineapple). I am pretty sure that if you spend some time at the farmers market (there is one a short walk away near the tunnel) you will find more local fruit for less than 50p a piece and Mani will happily cut them up and serve them for you. Accessing tuks was really easy to get to the center, but it is also very walkable (it will take you about 30 minutes). The hot water works really well and the bathrooms are also spacious and clean (shampoo and conditioner provided along with soap). I would also recommend having a chat with Mr Saminda, the property manager. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about where to eat out and what to see. He suggested a restaurant to us (about 10 minutes walk from the hotel) and it had an excellent range of food both local and international. Overall, a very relaxing and peaceful stay.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. There was hot water and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was delicious and there were so many options which you could choose from. Location is great, really quiet and pretty but only 15 mins away from the city and tuktuks are very cheap. Sri was so welcoming and willing to help us with anything that we needed. Would very much recommend!

Zona fabulosa, muito tranquila e bonita (apesar de longe do centro de Kandy, mas já o sabíamos). Família muito simpática, prestável e acolhedora. Limpeza impecável. Não tínhamos rúpias disponíveis e o anfitrião teve a amabilidade de ir trocar os dólares. Têm refeições disponíveis, a preços acessíveis.

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The hospitality of these people is indescribable. They were extremely helpful. The place is perfectly located and has a beautiful garden. I highly recommend it.

Chegámos de uma viagem longa de autocarro e fomos recebidos super bem. Sumo de fruta. Disseram para descansarmos no hall. O pequeno almoço era muito completo e feito na hora. Ainda nos sugeriram um restaurante para jantar que era incrível (com os melhores sumos de fruta que provámos no Sri lanka). Ajudaram-nos chamando um tuk-tuk para não perdermos o transporte para Ella, no último dia. Recomendamos!

The property is very well maintained and is located in a beautiful view point. We spend time at the nice balcony with great view and great service. It was really good place to rest. Breakfast was also well served in another side of the building with different side of the view which was refreshing. The staff went out of their way to make sure we are having everything we needed and we did Highly recommend

First of all, it's a whole floor for you in a small house, so you a completely alone and will not meet anybody on your territory :) something I wasn't expecting for such a low price actually Secondly, the renovation/decoration is amazing. White walls and floor, clean and spaceful bathroom. Again, it was completely unexpected 😅 Landlady even offered me traffic-coupons for my SIM-card due to Wi-Fi wasn't working!
