We spent 2 nights at Royal Rock and had the best time! The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Great breakfast and incredibly kind owners who were always willing to help. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

Good location for all the main tourist attractions and the entire staff of the property is really helpful. Even though it is a small family business. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The food is very fresh and delicious. Overall 100% satisfied."

We had a very good experience at this place! It is located in the jungle and sleeping in a treehouse is really special! You could hear all the wild animals during the night and the rain falling on the roof and the trees surrounding the tree house. The bathroom was very special, since it was located outside the room, shovering in the jungle was a nice experience. The sheets could have been a little bit cleaner, but overall it was very clean. And the absolutely best thing of this hotel is the crazy delicious food! A variety of home cooked dishes let's you find real joy! This is a family business and the people working there are very very friendly and helpful.🥰♥️

The entire staff were sweet, professional and polite going out of their way to make sure you have the best stay. The rooms are comfortable and immaculate and the pool is perfect! Loved every second of my stay here. Highly recommend to anyone going to Sigiriya

The accommodation itself is beautifully set in nature, making it peaceful and relaxing, yet still comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal felt freshly and thoughtfully prepared. All my needs were met during my stay, and I truly felt cared for. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya, and I’d definitely go back again if I could

This is absolutely the perfect place to stay for a few days in Sigiriya! Amazing value for money: nice room with good comfy beds and a little seat looking over the large swimming pool and lucious garden with a beautiful lake in the background. Only a short walk (7 minutes or so) away from the centre of Sigiriya but in the middle of peace and quiet of nature. Kasun and his staff where very kind, friendly and always there to help with questions, advice or arranging drivers (tuktuk as well as taxi and safari). Breakfast was very good and more than enough to start your day. Would definitely recommend!!
