We really appreciate to the owner and Kali. They were so kind and great hospitality. Rooms and shared kitchen were really clean. We admired the decoration of slow life. Location is perfect. Lookin forward to going again sometime.

The WiFi (internet) worked very well for my work, but if there is a power off, they have a hotel nearby (1min walking)where you can also work and use WiFi (if you need). Situated in Dickwella, 100 metres from Batheegama Beach, Janaka's House offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden. Janaka and his family are super friendly and supporting. They give information about anything, from places to visit and restaurants to go to. We did feel home and very cared for. We did snorkel with turtles in the morning, the beach is just a few minutes walking distance from the accommodation. The room was tidy and quiet, the bathroom has hot showers and the breakfast was delicious. Janaka has helped us and brought us to the doctor when my mom did hurt her foot. The price of the rooms are fantastic and so is the family! We would definitely recommend this accommodation and come back again!
