We loved the accommodation, with a beautiful terrace at the front overlooking nature and the sunset. The owner was helpful in arranging a safari and for advising restaurants in the neighbourhood for take away (so we could it with the beautiful view). The sanitaire was clean.

This is a genuine feedback. One of the best service we have had in 4.5 months of travelling across Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. The owner was superb in helping us out. He text before hand if we needed picking up from bus stop for free. He has his own tuk tuk and took us to bus stops and showed us on our way to sites we were visiting. Hit water for tea/coffee was always available in beautiful tea pots. He offered to cook us an evening meal in his home and invited the other single guest. Amazing tasty food of dhal, pumpkin, coconut and herb mix, rice. Only 900 rupees each. He then dropped us off to the bus stop 8-10 mins away for free. We obviously offered him money but he was more keen that we wrote of our experiences of the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

The host and his family are super nice and welcoming. He showed us around some beautifull places around the village. The place is full of a wide variety of birds . The food was some amazing home cooked local srilankan cuisine. Perfect place relatively untouched by mass tourism.

White Square Home-stay localiza-se em Wellawaya, na região de Monaragala District, a 35 km de Ponte dos Nove Arcos de Demodara, e fornece acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um parque infantil, um... The hosts were amazing. So welcoming to our family and open. We had the most incredible dinner and breakfast cooked by them and shared with the two families. We learnt a lot about Sri Lankan culture and would highly recommend other people to stay.

Rooms are huge, as well as the bed, and super comfortable. The staff very friendly and the cook excellent. Gabriel and his family are a delight. he helped us at all times and provided us with the info we needed to go on safari. The lodge is very close to Yala Park so it is a must if you plan to visit.

Mayka is a lovely host! She and her husband organised an amazing safari for us and were really helpful and accommodating.

Glimra eco lodge localiza-se em Hambegamuwa, na região de Monaragala District, e apresenta uma varanda. I traveled to this lodge alone and felt the entire time like I was visiting family. Roshani was so attentive, thorough and communicative. She not only provided accommodations but invited me on various cultural experiences so I could get a first hand experience. I highly recommend staying here!

A 36 km de Templo de Kataragama, Forest Tree Top Holiday Resort fornece acomodações, restaurante, um jardim, um terraço e um bar. It was a fantastic experience. Our host, Bhathia, took such loving care of us. He showed us and explained the many plants in his garden. His mother is an amazing cook and spoiled us every day with a hearty breakfast and a wonderful dinner. The private safari in the nearby Yala Park was also very nice; we even saw a leopard. The house has no windows, but that wasn't a problem at all. Quite the opposite: it was lovely to hear all the animals and birds—real wildlife at day and at night. There is a mosquito net over the bed so you can sleep peacefully and not get bitten by moskitos. A small river behind the house is perfect for cooling. All in all, a very nice stay in the middle of nature with very friendly and helpful hosts. Don't expect luxury, but everything is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back sometime.

Highly recommended for the tasty Sri Lankan home cooking and the nice private safari into the less crowded part of Yala park. Cannot beat this for the price especially with good AC and hot water shower. Worth going a bit out of the way for.
