I literally never review anything, but this is the best-value-for-your money hotel in Riga, where there is a lot of moldy and poorly renovated cheap rooms for rent. Amella is reliably quiet, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a short or even slightly longer stay, depending on how creative you want to get in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable, windows open if you want some fresh air, and I haven't been cold when staying in the winter.

Grand Palace Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World is located in the heart of Riga’s Old Town, only 100 metres from Riga Castle. It features rooms with free WiFi, a minibar and flat-screen cable... This place is delightful! Great central location- you can see the Christmas market from the entrance as it’s just one block away. Comfortable, clean rooms with heated floors in the bathroom - much appreciated in the winter! The sauna is also just what’s needed after a cold day spent outside. But the breakfast is the real winner here. We had mimosas every morning and be sure to try the sea buckthorn shot which is delicious.

Konventa Sēta Hotel - Keystone Collection is a 4-star hotel, housed in a historic state-of-the-art townhouse in a 7 building complex. The location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by numerous great restaurants, cafes, and bars, making it incredibly convenient. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was exceptionally friendly and polite, ensuring a welcoming experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!
