I literally never review anything, but this is the best-value-for-your money hotel in Riga, where there is a lot of moldy and poorly renovated cheap rooms for rent. Amella is reliably quiet, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities you need for a short or even slightly longer stay, depending on how creative you want to get in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable, windows open if you want some fresh air, and I haven't been cold when staying in the winter.

It features rooms with free WiFi, a minibar and flat-screen cable... This place is delightful! Great central location- you can see the Christmas market from the entrance as it’s just one block away. Comfortable, clean rooms with heated floors in the bathroom - much appreciated in the winter! The sauna is also just what’s needed after a cold day spent outside. But the breakfast is the real winner here. We had mimosas every morning and be sure to try the sea buckthorn shot which is delicious.
