Featuring outdoor and indoor swimming pools, Holiday Inn Express Ciudad Del Carmen is set in the centre of Ciudad del Carmen, on Isla del Carmen. Overall the hotel has great conditions and it was built to be of a medium high caliber. Quality of the rooms and cleanliness was outstanding.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, Casa Feliz is set in Campeche. With city views, this accommodation offers a patio. No breakfast included (jut to answer the questions posed.) But ample recourses to cook, which was a definite plus. Good space, places to chill and work.

Featuring a year-round outdoor pool and sea views, Costa del Sol Champotón is located in Champotón. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Staff (Eric) has been great and super nice!! Wonderful host!

Set in Xpujil in the Campeche region, Hotel Cabañas Aldea Maya features a patio. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We loved our stay at Cabañas Aldea! The smaller cabin was already taken during the dates we wanted to book so we ended up booking the larger two bedroom cabin and we loved it! We felt so cozy and comfortable there. It was so quiet and a perfect place to rest after our days exploring Calakmul and the surrounding ruins. I highly recommend it as a place to stay when visiting this region!

Located in Campeche, 1.7 km from Campeche XXI Convention Centre, Casa El Flamboyán dentro de la ciudad amurallada provides air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. This was a fantastic location and a great value. I traveled with two other friends and loved that we had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The community space was beautiful and clean.

Set in Campeche, 1.7 km from Campeche XXI Convention Centre, Loft del malecon offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Outdoor dining is also possible at the apartment. This studio is really a gem. Clearly a lot of thought and love went into the concept of the loft. The overall decoration is wonderfully creative but it is especially in the details that you can see how much effort the owner and staff put in making you really feel at home: from earplugs for the light sleeper over cooking oil and condiments for the user of the well furnished kitchen to a charger for your phone or laptop, a flashlight, a selfie holder for your phone, phone numbers for taxis and tour operators, a hairdryer, lots of towels… too much to sum up. It’s on walking distance to the old town and beautiful sundowns over the Gulf of Mexico are just on the other side of the Malecon. Whenever we will be back in Campeche Loft del Malecon will be our first choice.

Hotel Maculís is set in Campeche, 1.8 km from Campeche XXI Convention Centre. With an outdoor swimming pool, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Staff (Christian) was very helpful with information about Campeche with recommendation on things to do. Pedro helped us carry our luggage into the suite. I can’t remember the last time someone did that.

Located in Xpujil, Eco Aldea kinich Ahau provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. We only stayed one night, but this is a good option for staying in town when you are headed to Calakmul in the morning. The room was clean, cosy and even had a fridge.

Set in Escárcega, 47 km from Luna, casa YAAKUNAH offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It is the only hotel on booking in this town. The food is decent and the hotel is beautiful.
