Hotel & Suites Real del Lago offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms and a rooftop pool with panoramic views of Villahermosa and Las Ilusiones Lagoon. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were cleaned and had all we needed. The pool and deck were cleaned and comfortable.

La Venta Inn is centrally located in Villahermosa, right opposite the unique Olmec statues of La Venta Park Museum, and 300 metres from the Pemex Pyramid Tower. The hotel was fine, with easy parking and nice rooms. Breakfast was great! And so was the main restaurant at night. The location doesn't lend itself to wandering too far to find other places to eat, so this was a bonus. There wasn't any noise from traffic despite being on a busy road. (I'm a light sleeper, so it would have woken me). We'd stay here again if we visited the city.

My room was very comfy. I loved having my own fridge and microwave and bathroom. The room and bathroom were pretty modern looking, and the bed was super comfortable. And the AC was top notch. Great location near the mercado and right across the street from the riverfront. They are remodeling the riverfront, making a gorgeous walkway with plants and benches, so that will be amazing once it is finished!!
