This is one of the most charming Airbnbs I have visited. I Have traveled in Asia, North Am, and Europe, but this Airbnb was different. It was beautiful beyond words. When I entered it from the street, it felt like I walked into a universe of art, heritage and warmth. I also met some interesting travellers like art historians etc. Highly recommended when visiting Merida. Also staff is polite, courteous and responsible.

It is a comfortable room with 2 double beds and a hammock. There's also a smart TV. The bathroom in the suite has toilet and shower. They provide toiletries, and there's a hairdryer too. The whole place has a charming design and good vibe. It is a separate suite in the yard of the local house, so you have all the possible privacy and a great opportunity to immerse into culture and chat with the family if you speak Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't and had to use Google Translate :) Even with this the couple that owns the place were doing their best to accommodate my curiosity and attempts to communicate. We were welcomed with some iced lemonade and in hot humid weather it was like a blessing! Breakfast was veeeery delicious and had traditional cuisine notes. The hosts are charming family, very friendly and caring. Muchos gracias! 10 of 10 ♥️

The staff was very welcoming and professional, Eduardo at the reception with his bright smile as well as the attentive restaurant staff. I stayed in room 6 which is the last one on the ground floor and loved it. Beautifully decorated and with a calming view to the garden and all greenery outside, it was very peaceful. The bed was very comfy, the AC was blowing cold fresh air, and I rested well overnight. I decided to dine in the hotel restaurant, and oh boy what a lovely surprise. The menu consists of Spanish classics, tortilla espanola, pulpo alla gallega, croquettes etc. Everything was well executed in terms of quality, flavor and plating. I did enjoy my free margarita too :) Breakfast was included and also very good, with many options to chose from, well cooked and presented.

Com churrasqueira, Casa Mia El Cuyo Eco Beach Boutique Hotel fica em El Cuyo, na região de Yucatán. Playa El Cuyo fica a poucos passos de distância e Playa Cocal fica a 2,4 km. We had the perfect getaway here. Casa Mia is an establishment where the staff is like family and the guests feel their hospitality at every step. We will return to kitesurf next time!

The owner is there every day and he really cares about the guests. The hotel is beautiful, the interior design is amazing. They had contact to a really good tour organizer which was much cheaper than anything on tripadvisor and the tours were great.
