The staff are particularly amazing - super helpful and get back you by WhatsApp quickly, and with any information you need - even on their day off! The actual house is breezy, clean and the deck is the perfect place to sit and relax with a drink (the beds are comfy and the linen is nice too). The location is on the other side of the island so you would probably need an ATV or scooter - we didn't do this as we had our 5 year old with us - we walked. But they can organise that for you. We loved the books (especially the kids books!), the grounds to run and play with our son, the dogs that hang out and the overall homey feel of place. Having David (sorry if that's spelt wrong!) helping us, made our stay easy, safe, and made us feel at ease. Thank you!

The place is really nice and we loved to stay there! the rooms are basic but totally fine and the owner even changed the towels and bed sheets after two nights. She is really caring and helpful. She organised a tour guide for us for the volcano hike and helped us to rent a motorbike. She also offers laundry and breakfast and i can really recommend getting breakfast there! It’s 130 cordobas and you get something freshly prepared from her, every morning something different, everything was delicious and especially the different fresh juices! It’s a really peaceful place in a quiet neighborhood and we would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Finca La Magia while traveling for 2 nigts and had a wonderful experience. The place is very beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. Carlos is incredibly kind and helpful. He showed me around the permaculture property and gave me some great tips. You immediately feel welcome with him. It’s important to know that the accommodation is very basic: there is a compost (eco) toilet and the shower is outside. If you enjoy simple, natural living, you will love this place. I would recommend renting a motorcycle or a quad to be more flexible and explore the area easily. Highly recommended for nature lovers.

Situated within 37 km of Maderas Volcano in Moyogalpa, Hostal y Mirador La Chaguita features accommodation with seating area. Hostal y Mirador la Chaguita was an excellent place to stay. It’s near the ferry in Moyogalpa (although an extra 800 meters farther up the hill than google maps says), and the owners will give you a ride for $1.50 USD (which I recommend - the walk was a lot with luggage). The place is beautiful with amazing views and the hosts/owners are warm and lovely people. They cooked us a delicious breakfast and made fresh juice in the morning, all for a very reasonable price. The hosts were also very responsive via WhatsApp before we arrived, and they helped us arrange transportation for the following day (and can help set up tours, etc if you wish). I definitely recommend staying here!

Featuring mountain views, Finca Aisa -Boutique bungalows in Ometepe island offers accommodation with balcony, around 2.3 km from Santo Domingo Beach. It was a very nice and private area. The Apartment are in Perfect condition and everthing was very clean. Especially the Host Simona was such a nice Person to me. So I enjoyed my stay very much
