Hospedaje Soma has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Moyogalpa. The room was great - best air conditioning I had on the travel, very clean. Gardens were lovely to relax. Pool was also great. I had breakfast and dinner (Indian curry) which was of good value. Staff were friendly, provided a lot of information on the island and organized transports.

Situated in Balgue, Ananda Guesthouse features accommodation with seating area. The property has lake and garden views, and is 12 km from Maderas Volcano. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

Featuring mountain views, El Güis hostel provides accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Maderas Volcano. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Very friendly family. Always helpful. There is a kitchen which you can use for a fee for the gas ($3).They have filtered drink water available which saves some bottles and money. The house is located off the main road in a very calm environment. Very good to relax but still close to some restaurants. We rented a scooter here, which was delivered to the property and in good condition.

Finca La Magia on viidakkohostelli, joka sijaitsee pienellä luomutilalla San Ramonin tuntumassa. Moyogalpa on 40 km:n päässä. Absolutely loved staying at Finca La Magia! It's such a beautiful and quiet spot, the staff was incredibly friendly and all facilities and rooms were spot clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers and the pets were adorable as well

So many places to sit outdoors and relax, hammocks, gazebos, rocking chairs, common room with couches and map books. Excellent, friendly service. Delicious food in the restaurant, hearty free breakfast. Monkeys and many species of birds around. Loved our stay here, highly recommend!

Situated within 37 km of Maderas Volcano in Moyogalpa, Hostal y Mirador La Chaguita features accommodation with seating area. This place is an absolute gem. My nervous system relaxed, the view is incredible. The hosts were so gracious and wonderful. I could have stayed a month here! It’s up a quiet road , and you’re away from the bustle( which is mild for the little town) but still close to what you need. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough.
