Hospedaje Soma has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Moyogalpa. I was in Ometepe for a short amount of time so opted to be close to the ferry. I did not expect the feeling of being so remote. The property is beautiful, well spaced out, with adorable chickens roaming around and many blooming flowers! The common and pool area is ideal to read or work. The staff take pride in ensuring the property is impecable and are super helpful. The pasta is made on site and everything is super fresh. I was obsessed with their mango passion fruit smoothy.

We absolutely loved staying here! The pictures do not do this place justice. The cabins are carefully built, very clean, and very comfortable! They are equipped with the necessities so we could cook and make coffee. It is right on the water and we went out on the dock both nights for sunset. The cabins are perfectly tucked away so it is very peaceful.

Featuring mountain views, El Güis hostel provides accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Maderas Volcano. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The place has a nice garden full of tropical plants, and an open roofed space with chairs, tables and hammocks. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

It is a little more remote which is part of its charm. Our hosts were amazing and the food fresh and delicious. The bed was comfortable and we loved hearing the monkeys.if you go to this delightful Finca and see a kitten named manana give her a kiss for me!

Featuring mountain views, Finca Aisa -Boutique bungalows in Ometepe island offers accommodation with balcony, around 2.3 km from Santo Domingo Beach. The suroundings and views are really beauriful. It also has a great location where you can reach all the main attractions and restaurants on a scooter. There is no AC but there are fans which were enough. We also appreciated the mosquito nets in all windows and doors as well as above the bed.
