Hotel Victoria is lovely. The room had everything we needed for our stay. It was super clean and serviced everyday. The breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly. We loved the pool and the gardens of the property, plus the view of Concepción was stunning. The hotel is located around 45mins walk / 8 min drive from Moyogalpa. It is also around a 20min walk to Punta Jesus Maria where there are a couple of small places to get food and drinks (and watch the sunset!) The main attractions of the island can then be reached by car.

This is an incredibly unique and beautiful cabin that Che built himself as a labour of love for his original home on Ometepe Island. We felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled on this absolute gem of a place to stay in one of the most special places in the world.

The breakfast options were lovely, the view on the volcano was amazing and I really enjoyed having our private terrace with a hammock and howler monkeys that visited the surrounding nature every day. Oh, and the stars on a not cloudy day, best I have ever seen so far! We have really enjoyed our week on the island, could easily have stayed a bit longer. Café Campestre was nearby, great place for dinner. All in all, it was better than we imagined, thank you!

You shouldn't miss this place If you are looking for a relaxed time on the Island. It is close to the starting point of the waterfall hike.
