It was a great apartment with a great host. Supermarket located very close by. Condition of the apartment was really good! About a 15-20 min walk to the city center but there is a bus stop close by as well.

Featuring river views, Strandbu Camping offers accommodation with a garden, around 47 km from Sabetjohk. This campground features free private parking and a shared kitchen. We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend

Offering a garden and garden view, The House of Aurora II is set in Tromsø, 19 km from University of Tromsø and 19 km from Tromsø City Hall. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is out of town, which I was specifically looking for to maximise my prospect of seeing the northern lights. On my first night I received a message from the host telling me to go outside as the lights had made an appearance. I was so grateful! While the location might be a little out of Tromso, there are very regular buses which go right past the property (and run quite late), and it’s also an easy drive in. The washing machine and dryer were a big bonus.
