Once again it was an excellent base to explore Dovrefell national park. Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.

Situated in the town of Sistranda on Frøya Island, this waterfront hotel offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a minibar and flat-screen TV. Its restaurant and bar serves local seafood specialities. Visit end Sep 23. Fantastic contemporary and eclectic hotel. Stayed in suite which was truly stunning for a special occasion with beautiful views overlooking the bay. Fabulous restaurant and bar with amazing food, both dinner and breakfast. Definitely worth a return trip!
