The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

The hosts and staff are welcoming, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and chocolate farm. Their care for sustainability and respect for the environment shines through in everything they do. From hiking through the cacao farm and learning about chocolate-making to trying different local fruits and spotting sloths right from the restaurant, every moment was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay — a place that connects you with nature and leaves you feeling inspired — La Loma Lodge is it. Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Make sure you stay a bit longer than we did, one night was definitely not enough.

The units were top-notch, fully equipped (kitchen, AC, smart TV) with a lot of space including living room area and patio area. Property manager on site to handle any questions, issues, and help with tour planning.

Tucked back into the jungle but 5 minute walk to the beach. This place exceeded our expectations. Simple and beautiful treehouse studios with howler monkeys in the trees around the property. So peaceful. The owners were amazing and so so kind. You can tell how much love goes into this place. If you're looking to relax, this is the spot!
