The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

Most ingredients are grown right on the property (even the pepper on the table and hot sauce are so), and every meal (and also the non-alcoholic drinks) is fresh and absolutely delicious. Dining at La Loma is more than a meal — it’s an experience and you’ve even got the best view of the bay ever from the restaurant. But what truly makes La Loma exceptional is the people. The hosts and staff are welcoming, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and chocolate farm. Their care for sustainability and respect for the environment shines through in everything they do. From hiking through the cacao farm and learning about chocolate-making to trying different local fruits and spotting sloths right from the restaurant, every moment was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay — a place that connects you with nature and leaves you feeling inspired — La Loma Lodge is it. Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Make sure you stay a bit longer than we did, one night was definitely not enough.

Host very friendly and attentive. Well equipped with dishes, comfortable beds and comfortable living room. Great view of pasture.

Geniale ruhige Lage zum relaxen am Pool,surfen ,remote working etc.pp und nur 3 Minuten mit dem water-taxi(1-2$) zur quirligen,historischen Bocastown auf Colon. Karen( the owner) ist immer ansprechbar,stets hilfreich und bestens vernetzt.Wir kommen wieder!

Die Vermieterin war extrem nett hat bei allen Anliegen geholfen. Die Unterkumft sah super schön aus und hatte den vibe eine Strandhauses.

In der Nähe der in Bocas del Toro in der Region Colón-Insel gelegenen Unterkunft Jungle Paunch befinden sich Strand Playa Paunch und Strand Playa Carenero Noreste. Es war toll mitten im Dschungel ohne Fensterglas zu wohnen und die Geräusche nachts zu hören. Die Lage 200m zu Fuß zum Surfspot the Paunch war top! Habe direkt von der Terasse aus, das erste Faultier in meinem Leben gesehen. Jane und Max sind einfach super Gastgeber.
