Fantastic relatively new Hotel, incredible grounds, a lush green paradise. Rooms are great, Spa is out of this world. 2 pools, one by the sea and one in the middle of the jungle at the spa. Amazing. The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

Located just 1.3 km from Y Griega Beach, La Luciernaga Big Creek features accommodation in Bocas del Toro with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. It was a quiet environment surrounded by nature, with a very comfortable and spacious veranda in the garden and open kitchen (for guests to use). The hosts were extremely welcoming, hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Breakfast was tasty (with Italian touch). The room was very comfortable and everything just felt right, including the decorations. We definitely enjoyed our stay here!

Perfect location just at the edge of town, within walking distance or a quick $1 cab. Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.

The interior and exterior of the hotel are really well designed. Also the garden and surroundings are special and we we able to see some wildlife. Also the people working there were incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m rating the place a 10/10.

Perfect location close to Bocas town, calm and secluded but still close to everything. A short walk to the beach, and Karen helped us book tours and taxi boats during our visit. Highly recommend!

Set in Bocas del Toro in the Isla Colon region, with Paunch Beach and Carenero Noreste Beach nearby, Jungle Paunch offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Maxi and his wife were such lovely hosts. They went out of their way to make sure that we had all the info that we needed about the area, including access to the surfbreaks, which was very much appreciated. Lovely treehouses that were built with love and thought by the owners. Very eco-minded, which we support 100 percent. The cabin was suspended in the jungle in a very quiet location, yet close to the beaches, which were a 5 minute walk away. Every day we could hear the Howler monkeys in the distance and hear and see the wide variety of tropical birds. Listening to the sounds of nature was so peaceful. We loved our stay there!
