The sunrises are incredible, the sun comes up, surfers catching the first waves … what a sight.

Morning coffee on the dock overlooking the ocean was beautiful, our apartment was spacious and bed very comfortable, AC in every room and a gorgeous view of Saigon Bay.

Every detail feels intentional, from the comfortable beds to breathtaking views of the forest, to having privacy from other rooms, to having two hammocks, to toilet paper holders ;). It’s the perfect balance of charm and comfort. The food and drinks deserve their own spotlight. Most ingredients are grown right on the property (even the pepper on the table and hot sauce are so), and every meal (and also the non-alcoholic drinks) is fresh and absolutely delicious. Dining at La Loma is more than a meal — it’s an experience and you’ve even got the best view of the bay ever from the restaurant. But what truly makes La Loma exceptional is the people. The hosts and staff are welcoming, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and chocolate farm. Their care for sustainability and respect for the environment shines through in everything they do. From hiking through the cacao farm and learning about chocolate-making to trying different local fruits and spotting sloths right from the restaurant, every moment was unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay — a place that connects you with nature and leaves you feeling inspired — La Loma Lodge is it. Without a doubt, one of the most remarkable travel experiences we’ve ever had. Make sure you stay a bit longer than we did, one night was definitely not enough.

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Lodge & Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. The dog and the cat and the shared kitchen. The view. The bluff beach. Very comfortable and beautiful.

Nice dock and seating areas, small convenience store for basics, good amount of tropical trees around buildings providing shade from sun. The units were top-notch, fully equipped (kitchen, AC, smart TV) with a lot of space including living room area and patio area. Property manager on site to handle any questions, issues, and help with tour planning.
