Carlo and his wife are friendly and attentive hosts. The rooms matched the photos. The wifi worked well. You can cook or have food delivered to the outdoor dining area. The hotel is about 700 meters from Pipa Beach, which is one of the few beaches on Isla Colon that is good for swimming because it has sand and no waves. My wife needed a taxi to go to Pipa Beach because the roads are under construction and covered with big stones. The hotel is a short taxi ride to Bocas Town for restaurants and boat excursions.

Location, I loved that it was far away from the noise of the town but still only $1 away per person by taxi to Boca Town. was perfect!

The property is so unique and it was an unforgettable experience. I’m writing this review on the last morning of my stay, sitting in my hammock looking out at the jungle, drinking the cacao tea brought to my room this morning, hoping I’ll catch one last view of the mama and baby sloth we spotted on our farm tour yesterday. The food has been outstanding, I looked forward to every meal, and when we did our day trip to Zapatilla islands (a must do - snorkeling, starfish, and dolphins on the way there, then the most pristine beach at these small national park islands), they packed lunch for us to bring. The rooms are so comfortable (obviously there are some bugs, but the netting around the bed works great and there’s ample bug spray and a fan above the bed) and it felt like a little paradise

The rustic and ecological Tesoro Escondido Lodge & Cabinas offers accommodation in Bluff Beach. Located in a secluded area of Colon. Bocas Town is 5 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available. The location was perfect. Easily accessible, on the beach and could sleep with the sounds of the waves crashing.it was pretty and friendly and had everything we needed.

Nice dock and seating areas, small convenience store for basics, good amount of tropical trees around buildings providing shade from sun. The units were top-notch, fully equipped (kitchen, AC, smart TV) with a lot of space including living room area and patio area. Property manager on site to handle any questions, issues, and help with tour planning.

This is a gorgeous and adventurous place to stay, tucked away from the breach, where you can see sloths in the trees, monkeys swinging through and bats hunting at dusk. The kitchens had everything we needed and the outdoor area was great for hosting meals. Maxi and Jane were excellent hosts, very attentive, and even made sure all our clothes were dry before we left given things can get a little wet in the jungle!

Where the Jungle Meets the Reef,” CocoVivo is a magical eco-retreat on the southern tip of Isla Cristobal. We loved the food and the immediate access to excellent snorkeling. The other guests are friendly. When you are in your house, it still feels like you are enjoying nature. It was an amazing place to spend 6 days!!
