I staid two weeks instead of two nights, like I had first planned. Nancy, the hostess, is amazing and super generous. She invited me to try her homemade drinks and to her friend's birthday party at the hostel. She is also very knowledgeable about touristic things in the area and helped me find information about specific locations several times. The hostel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the central square. There are a few small shops just next to the hostel if you need and the street is very quiet at night. The room and bed is comfy, there are shared spaces and a small shared kitchen (in the back of the garden). There is a big courtyard and small garden, perfect for travellers with dogs (like me). The shared bathroom and toilet was always clean and the water in the shower was hot. The different breakfasts (for an extra fee) were delicious! Thanks/gracias/merci for a wonderful stay :)

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Gocta Andes Lodge is located in Chachapoyas. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at this lodge, just 6 km from the Gocta waterfalls. Great view of waterfall. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful

Goctamarca Lodge ligger i Cocachimba og har en hage, terrasse, restaurant og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Idyllic. This place is paradisiac. No word to describe the feeling to wake up with this wonderful view, and sound of the colibris. The room is super clean, water is hot, bed is really confortable, private terrasse is amazing. I loved the decoration, natural pure atmosphere. The staff is super kind, they offered me to shower and rest after a big hike when i came back in late afternoon while i had check out in the morning. Breakfast and dinner were amazing, fresh home made food. I really wish i could have stayed longer and did not to leave un Thank you again!

I Cocachimba ligger Mamaq Tambo Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en fellesstue, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over fjellet. beautiful surroundings, in the nature, very quiet but only a short walk from the village ( if you need a store), they prepare really tasty food and bread ( they also have their own vegetable garden ), friendly staff and owners that help you with everything, bungalows are spacious, two flloor with gallery, bright and nicely decorated, huge bathroom, view over Gocta from the upper windows, comfy terasse and nice gardens all around, they also brought us tea with sweets in the afternoon for no extra charge, we were two families with teenage kids and all loved the place.

Eco Albergue Azul i Cuispes tilbyr overnatting med tilgang til en hage, en fellesstue og grillutstyr. It’s a very relaxt place. Martien, the temporary owner, is very welcoming and friendly guy and he did everything he could to give us a good time at the hostel.

MuyaKuelap - Vive la experiencia Amazonas tilbyr overnatting i Nuevo Tingo og har en terrasse. Fra boenhetene har du utsikt over fjellet. Du har tilgang til gratis WiFi. We had a great time here! The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The common areas are great, and the back garden is like a peaceful oasis! Our host, JJ, was incredible! He was so welcoming and helpful during our stay, and went above and beyond our expectations. He walked us to the gondola, showed us the way to Silic, and helped us organise our night-bus to Cajamarca. The cat, Nala, is wonderful and very friendly, and loves a good chat!

Ekokuelap Lodge y turismo alternativo tilbyr en hage, terrasse, en restaurant og bar i Nuevo Tingo. Overnattingsstedet har et underholdningsteam og romservice. I stayed at Ekokuelap Lodge for 2 nights during my visit to Kuélap. I was pleased to know that the hosts spoke my language (French). The communication with Maud was prompt and I was provided with precious travel information before arriving and upon leaving. Upon my arrival, Maud offered to upgrade me to a more expensive room which was really appreciated as I had a long day travelling. I enjoyed the uniqueness (traditional roundhouse style) and the coziness of the room (fluffy bed cover and pillows) as well as the private bathroom. I also enjoyed Maud’s hospitality which made me feel like I was at home. Finally as I have dietary restrictions, I appreciated Maud’s flexibility while preparing my breakfast and also for accepting to let me do some food prep in her kitchen. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and homey stay away from home, while visiting this beautiful region of Peru!
