This is a home shared by a wonderful family that are so inviting and hospitable. I had only planned on staying a few days, but ended up being there for over a week and it honestly felt like I was 'home.' This place does not have all the fancy amenities you can find in a hotel, but if you don't care about that nonsense and are only visiting Chacapoyas to see the sites, then I can't recommend this place enough.

From the delicious breakfast to the super friendly staff. Rooms were also clean and comfortable. I’d highly recommend it and would come again!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Gocta Andes Lodge is located in Chachapoyas. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at this lodge, just 6 km from the Gocta waterfalls. Great view of waterfall. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful

I Cocachimba ligger Mamaq Tambo Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en fellesstue, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over fjellet. Mamaq Tambo Lodge is secluded a piece paradise with breathtaking views of Gocta falls. The property is has only 3 cottages which adds to the feeling of already large lung spaces lush with greenery. The decor and appointment of the accommodation are authentic, aesthetically pleasing and with a marvellous attention to detail. The food is excellent at all 3 meals and the internet is reliable. The best feature of the property is the family who runs it. Carmen, Francesco, their son Leonardo and their support staff are incredible hosts and guides to the area. Amongst the many highlights is their Sauna perched on top of a hillock with a stunning view of the Cataracts. We will definitely be coming back to stay here and I highly recommend this fantastic property to all travellers, families or otherwise.

When I arrived the collectivo stopped at the property & JJ the owner was there to meet me, a great welcome & throughout my stay nothing was too much trouble, including setting up my trip to Kuélap. The room was spacious & clean, the bed was very comfortable & I had a great nights sleep. Plenty of hot water for showering after a hike around Kuelap. Breakfast was delicious with lots of local produce & was different every day unlike most hostels I have stayed at. It is great place to stay & I would definitely stay here again.
