I staid two weeks instead of two nights, like I had first planned. Nancy, the hostess, is amazing and super generous. She invited me to try her homemade drinks and to her friend's birthday party at the hostel. She is also very knowledgeable about touristic things in the area and helped me find information about specific locations several times. The hostel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the central square. There are a few small shops just next to the hostel if you need and the street is very quiet at night. The room and bed is comfy, there are shared spaces and a small shared kitchen (in the back of the garden). There is a big courtyard and small garden, perfect for travellers with dogs (like me). The shared bathroom and toilet was always clean and the water in the shower was hot. The different breakfasts (for an extra fee) were delicious! Thanks/gracias/merci for a wonderful stay :)

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Gocta Andes Lodge is located in Chachapoyas. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at this lodge, just 6 km from the Gocta waterfalls. Great view of waterfall. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful

Nastanitev Goctamarca Lodge se nahaja v mestu Cocachimba in ponuja vrt, teraso ter restavracijo. Lovely cabins, very private, great views. Bed was incredibly comfortable and overall the room was impeccably clean. Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts and dinners were tasty home cooking. Highly recommend.

Mamaq Tambo Lodge is secluded a piece paradise with breathtaking views of Gocta falls. The property is has only 3 cottages which adds to the feeling of already large lung spaces lush with greenery. The decor and appointment of the accommodation are authentic, aesthetically pleasing and with a marvellous attention to detail. The food is excellent at all 3 meals and the internet is reliable. The best feature of the property is the family who runs it. Carmen, Francesco, their son Leonardo and their support staff are incredible hosts and guides to the area. Amongst the many highlights is their Sauna perched on top of a hillock with a stunning view of the Cataracts. We will definitely be coming back to stay here and I highly recommend this fantastic property to all travellers, families or otherwise.

Nastanitev Eco Albergue Azul se nahaja v mestu Cuispes in ima vrt, skupni prostor za druženje ter možnost peke na žaru. Loved staying here, very clean place and located directly in the jungle! Richard, the host, is amazing and loves to look after his guests. He’s dedicated himself to the protection of the Amazonas and to save abandoned animals. There are currently five very cute dogs and two cats living at his place. We loved the delicious vegetarian food he cooks as well! Highly recommend this place, especially if you want to explore all the beautiful waterfalls around. There’s also the option to volunteer for those wanting to stay a little longer.

Nastanitev MuyaKuelap - Vive la experiencia Amazonas se nahaja v mestu Nuevo Tingo in nudi teraso ter razgled na gore. Na voljo je brezplačen WiFi. When I arrived the collectivo stopped at the property & JJ the owner was there to meet me, a great welcome & throughout my stay nothing was too much trouble, including setting up my trip to Kuélap. The room was spacious & clean, the bed was very comfortable & I had a great nights sleep. Plenty of hot water for showering after a hike around Kuelap. Breakfast was delicious with lots of local produce & was different every day unlike most hostels I have stayed at. It is great place to stay & I would definitely stay here again.

Nastanitev Ekokuelap Lodge y turismo alternativo se nahaja v mestu Nuevo Tingo, 32 km od znamenitosti vasica Kuelap, in ponuja storitve concierge, sobe za nekadilce, vrt, brezplačen WiFi ter teraso. I stayed at Ekokuelap Lodge for 2 nights during my visit to Kuélap. I was pleased to know that the hosts spoke my language (French). The communication with Maud was prompt and I was provided with precious travel information before arriving and upon leaving. Upon my arrival, Maud offered to upgrade me to a more expensive room which was really appreciated as I had a long day travelling. I enjoyed the uniqueness (traditional roundhouse style) and the coziness of the room (fluffy bed cover and pillows) as well as the private bathroom. I also enjoyed Maud’s hospitality which made me feel like I was at home. Finally as I have dietary restrictions, I appreciated Maud’s flexibility while preparing my breakfast and also for accepting to let me do some food prep in her kitchen. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and homey stay away from home, while visiting this beautiful region of Peru!
