The staff really make all the difference — the cleaners, reception, baggage storage team and security were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bathrooms were consistently spotless, which I really appreciated. Every time I walked in, the reception team and security staff always greeted me with a smile and a warm "hi". Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco is a converted 17th-century mansion located in Cusco’s centre, a few steps away from Cusco Main Square and La Merced Church. Second time staying in this hotel and I loved it. Great staff , nice breakfast and facilities.. The initial confusion about what type of room was booked was handled efficiently and professionally. Will stay again.

Offering a shared lounge and city view, Yanuy Culinary Stay and Taste is set in Cusco, 2.7 km from Wanchaq Train station and 600 metres from San Pedro Train Station. This was the perfect stay for our first time visiting Cusco! Michael was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. He took the time explaining the history of the area and mapped out restaurant recommendations and the best things to see during our time. He prepared us packed breakfasts on the days we were not able to attend our included breakfast due to our early excursions. The sit down breakfast was home cooked made to order and so delicious. Room was perfect for us - clean, comfortable bed, hot shower, hot tea and bottled water on our floor was always stocked, wifi kept us connected. Our furry friend Cusi was an added bonus. Location was 5 min walk to restaurants and about a 10-15 min walk to downtown historic district. No issues from our travel tours picking us up from the property.

Comfortable beds and good private showers and toilet. The location was beautiful with a nice sitting area. Breakfast and dinner was filling and tasty, and we even got given lunch in the day we arrived! They had cold beers too

Gelga and Romulo where such lovely hosts and made us feel at home directly upon arrival. The entire place is built with lots of love and attention to detail. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Cusco. We would definetly come back!

Featuring mountain views, Refugio de Mery Lucmabamba offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 19 km from Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary. Mery’s refugie is a total bless. The shower was actually running hot water! The bed was comfortable and warm, and both the dinner and breakfast prepared by Mery were the best food I’ve had in Peru! The fried trucha and the homemade guacamole were god’s food. For such a cost you really cannot find a better performance! Highly recommend!

We loved the walk with the alpacas and llama with Cedilia. Joel taught us how to cook an authentic Peruvian dinner, taking care to ensure that my daughter’s was gluten free. Their property is stunning and we wished we had spent more time there!
