Lorena, the host, was amazing and made us feel at home every day while we were there. Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. PuraChata Ecolodge is gelegen in Iquitos met uitzicht op de rivier en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

CAMUNGO jungle Lodge in indigenous community ALL INCLUSIVE is gelegen in Puerto Franco met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een kinderclub, bar, tuin en terras. The tambo was extremely comfortable. I had plenty of room, a desk to do some work and two hammocks out the back with mosquito net protection to relax with the sounds of the jungle

Piri's House is gelegen in Iquitos. Er is uitzicht op de stad en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. The host Lidsky give us a warm welcome drink. The house equips with a very clean kitchen, pots, stove, kettle, plates, fridge...etc, so it's easy to make a simple breakfast by ourselves. The airconditions are working well, so it helps us with a humid/warm night in Iquitos. There's no hot water for the shower, but I don't want it, either. It's not far from Mercado Belén.

Amazon Curassow Lodge and Expeditions heeft een tuin, een privéstrand, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Paraíso. The space and the facilities are very welcoming, a place created and cared for with a lot of love, blending into the jungle. We really liked it!
